Curriculum

Built around the actual day-to-day of professional EP work — not military or police-academy material. Practical reads on protective intelligence, advance work, motorcade, residence security, and client interaction.

Protective Intelligence & Threat Assessment
Reading credible vs. low-credibility threats, OSINT for principals, escalation triggers, when to escalate to law enforcement, working with corporate security teams.

Advance Work
Site surveys, hotel walks, restaurant prep, route planning, secondary route identification, hospital and medical facility advance, entry/exit planning.

Motorcade Operations
Single-vehicle and multi-vehicle motorcade, principal vehicle positioning, defensive driving fundamentals, choke-point identification, emergency egress.

Close Personal Protection
Foot formations (one-detail, two-detail, four-detail), arrival/departure, walking through crowds, elevator and stairwell movement, restaurant cover, retail cover.

Residence Security
Home and estate security assessments, visitor management, staff vetting, alarm and camera integration, family-member protocols, child-protection considerations.

Client Interaction & Discretion
Professional bearing, dress and grooming standards, conversational discipline, NDA practice, social-media policy, when to speak vs. fade into background.

First aid, AED, tactical medical basics (TCCC fundamentals), evacuation under threat, medical-facility liaison, chain-of-command in emergencies.

Realistic Expectations
Coursework and placement support do not guarantee employment. Pay outcomes vary by employer, geography, experience, and demand. Most graduates who actively pursue EP work secure their first paid detail within 60–90 days of completion — but this depends on your prep, market timing, and the introduction network you build.
