This is the Part 1 (online) completion record only. Under California SB 652 (effective January 1, 2026, amending BPC §7583.6), the 8-hour Powers to Arrest training is satisfied only after completion of both Part 1 and the 4-hour in-person Part 2 with the same BSIS-licensed provider. A guard who has only Part 1 has not satisfied the pre-assignment requirement and may not lawfully be posted. This document is not a BSIS-issued guard card.

Same BSIS-licensed provider as Part 1 (that's us). Use-of-force scenarios, handcuffing drills, surrender role-plays, and the written attestation BSIS requires for in-person hour credit. Sessions run weekly at LA, Bay Area, San Diego, Sacramento, and Central Valley locations.

Complete Live Scan fingerprinting DOJ + FBI

Walk into any approved Live Scan location with the pre-filled form we send you after Part 2. Fees are paid directly to the Live Scan provider (typically $25–55). Results flow to BSIS automatically.

Submit your BSIS Guard Card application BPC §7582 et seq.

We guide you through the BSIS form line by line. Your Part 1 + Part 2 completion record attaches automatically. BSIS typically issues the card within 1–3 weeks. The final BSIS-aligned completion certificate is issued by Whitestar once Part 2 is complete.

Employers can verify this certificate by entering serial — at onlineguardcards.com/verify. The record is retained by Whitestar per 16 CCR §643.
